Since 2009, the London Songwriters Meetup Group has been making music together and bringing their songs to life. Organizer Murray, who now manages over 800 Muses, let me know a bit about his own processes.
What were the first few Meetups like? What helps create momentum in a creative group?
The first monthly Meetup was in June 2009. 15 songwriters attended and it grew steadily from there to an average of 25-30. In March 2010, the format consisted of networking and songshare. After that an element of songwriting exercises crept in.

Since March 2008, Animal Rescue Flights has been flying animals away from kill shelters and into loving homes all across the United States. Once I saw the amazing mission of this group, I had to talk to Organizers Clark and Julia to find out more!
